Fishing With Charly

My best friend, Charly Watson, and I live to fish.  We enjoy fishing the small creeks and rivers which are abundant in our native Georgia.  From perch to catfish to largemouth bass, these small waters have them all.  Nothing beats a sunny day in our little plywood boat just tossing tiny artificial spiders beneat the overhanging braches of the creek banks.

Charly smokes tinky cigars to chase away the mosquitoes and deer flies that populate the streams.  I opt for insect repellent that comes in a can.

At day’s end we usually have a nice stringer of assorted species.  We can supply our neighbors with fish and have plenty to put in our freezers.

You can find small streams just about anywhere, and your missing a fishing bonanza if you don’t take advantage of them...
